Little Creatures Honey Farm is a very new BEE honey business. We only recently started up and are still in the beginning stages of building hives, catching swarms, purchasing honey extracting equipment as well as contacting fruit and other farmers for pollination contracts.
Our workshop is situated in The Strand, but the hives will be scattered all around the Western Cape province of South Africa.
The business consists of Lindani Kotobe and Nick Lawrence. Lindani, a chemist, will ensure that all the hives are free of pests and deseases as well as analyse the honey for specific floral attributes. Nick, who is a qualified horticulturist and beekeeper will be in charge of keeping the bees, building new hives (and fixing damaged hives), catching swarms, breeding queens as well as contacting farmers who may wish to contract Little Creatures for pollination services. Honey will also be sold both in bulk as well as in jars directly to customers.
